Britain's largest lake by surface area, wild trout, big pike, perch, roach and the occasional powan (a relict freshwater whitefish). Salmon and sea trout run from the Endrick and Leven in season. Best fished from a boat, especially the southern shallows.

Permits from the Loch Lomond Angling Improvement Association. Salmon and sea trout require a separate ticket. The loch is part of a National Park, pay attention to mooring rules.
