A long limestone reef running half a mile out to sea — accessible by foot from the cliff path. Cod, coalfish, pollack and wrasse over the kelp; mackerel and garfish through summer. Big tides cover the Brigg quickly, so a tide table is non-optional.

Access & rules
Park at Filey Country Park and walk down the steep cliff path. Fish the Brigg on the dropping tide and be off well before low — the reef gets cut off fast.
