A long limestone reef running half a mile out to sea, accessible by foot from the cliff path. Cod, coalfish, pollack and wrasse over the kelp; mackerel and garfish through summer. Big tides cover the Brigg quickly, so a tide table is non-optional.

Access & rules
Park at Filey Country Park and walk down the steep cliff path. Fish the Brigg on the dropping tide and be off well before low, the reef gets cut off fast.
